We stopped in Ozark, AR on our way back to California and stayed at Dan’s Riverview RV Park. I had called and made a reservation while we were in Memphis, since Mike was sick we decided to stay in Memphis an extra night so I called Dan and asked if it would be OK if I moved our reservation. He was very nice and accommodating and had no problem moving our reservation.

When we arrived at the park we were pleasantly surprised. The park is very nice. It is well laid out, the spaces are a very nice size and there is plenty of room between sites. Dan is a very nice man and he is fun to talk to. He just opened the park not to long ago so everything is shiny and new.

The spaces have a nice picnic table, a fire pit and a pole to hang a lantern on. There are nice grassy areas for Abby (our lab) to play. Since our hot water heater is giving us problems we used the park showers. Again we were pleasantly surprised. The cleanest bathrooms / showers I have ever seen in a park. They are nice and big and very private. I didn’t use the laundry room but I did peak in there and again, very nice, clean and new.

The park is in a great location. You are close to town, about a mile or so, but you don’t feel like you are right in town. It was very easy to get our 40′ Motorhome in and out of the park.

We didn’t spend much time in town but we did run in for dinner last night and I ran to the smallest Walmart I have ever seen this morning. I am not kidding this Walmart is about the size of the Dollar Tree back home, but it looked like they had everything you would need. The town had that small town charm that I love. I missed my turn on my way back from Walmart so I drove around on some of the side streets.

There is lots to do and see in the area and I have put Ozark Arkansas on my bucket list and when we come back we will definitely be staying at Dan’s Riverview RV Park.

I didn’t take any pictures but you can click on he link above and Dan has some really good pictures of the park.
