We spent two nights at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park and Hotel. The park is very nice. It is a Passport America park so we paid $24.50 per night. Non Passport America pricing is $43.99 – $48.99 a night. All sites have asphalt pads to park on. They require you have rubber pads under your jacks if you are going to put them down. The park is within walking distance to down town where you can find places to eat, drink, shop and just stroll around. You can read more about Williams, AZ on my blog post here. The RV park has a nice common area where you can have a fire and bbq up some dinner. There is a laundry room and shower facilities, we did not use them so I can’t really tell you anything other then they do have them. There is a nice walking trail all the way around the RV park and they supply poop bags and trash bins along the path to clean up after your pet. The only complaint I had was the park is right on the railroad tracks which to me is kind of neat except for the train that rolls through every morning about 4:00 am with it’s whistle blowing.
Guests of the RV park get a key card so they can enjoy the indoor swimming pool and fitness room in the hotel. There is also a restaurant and buffet located in the hotel area. They both look very nice but they were a little spendy we thought. It was like $28.00 per person for the buffet and I would have thought about $17.00 per person was more reasonable.
You can catch a train over at the hotel and take a all day trip to the Grand Canyon. There are several packages to choose from. We were going to do this but we wanted to go to Bearizona and there wasn’t time to do both.
I would definitely recommend this park and will go back if we are ever in the area again.
